Try to be easy and forgiving of yourself. Autoimmune issues get into your brain and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it; it is not your fault, so beating yourself up over it will do no good at all. The trouble is that you can know that on an intellectual basis, but when it is actually happening, you may or may not realize it is happening at the time. More often not than realizing.

Also, the medicines that they give you to counteract the issues also get into your brain and make it fuzzy.

Fortunately, neither the issue(s) or the medications generally influence the desire to produce, and when you get things done, they can always be fixed if they do not meed your specifications and/or standards wet. My own standards of judging how bad things are (and currently they are very bad) are based on whether I even feel like making anything or not.

The rest is just detail. Where there is desire to produce, there is still a desire to live fully. And with autoimmune issues flaring badly, just having the desire to go on is a very big deal. Not everyone has the fortitude to do so by a long shot.
