… okay …
At first glance it would seem that the Art in the Park craft show wasn’t a huge personal success – I only sold about 20 pieces. However, as we checked out other booths to see how they’d done we realized that we’d done much, much better than so many vendors. Some vendors hadn’t even made expenses – some hadn’t sold one thing.
The craft show itself was set up beautifully – well organized, easy to find and navigate – a really wonderful show. The fault (if any is to be assigned) is – say it with me people – THE ECONOMY, STUPID!
But I digress…
Back to the knitting and designing, which I’ve been ignoring for a few weeks so I’m WAY behind schedule. I’m currently swatching up a colorwork motif for a sweater in an upcoming Interweave Knits. I’m using the same Muench yarn that I used in the last sweater for Interweave (scheduled to come out in the Fall 2003 Issue). Here’s a small section of the swatch:
It’s actually going to be in SIX colors… woohoo!
