Okay, you want something different? This is not terribly knitting related, but it may make you laugh.
Here’s the video I recently made when I auditioned for Project Runway.
Suffice to say, I didn’t get a call back…
It may make you laugh, it may make you scratch your head, but it will DEFINITELY make you say, “Dang! Those PR judges are smaaa-art!”
They SHOULD have called you back. You are a designer – and fit into all areas of design – not just knitting.
CALL HER BACK NOW!!!
I say it’s their loss and ours. They definitely SHOULD have called you back.
So… where does it say a designer is supposed to be a video wiz?
A pox on PR screeners!!
Oh, Annie….fabulous tape. I enjoyed your humor and also learning more about your amazing experience and interesting background. I think one of the hardest things for most of us to do is talk well of ourselves, you managed that and made it interesting! But I have to say, be glad you got no got no call back. From what I can gather from glueing myself to the screen during each season of same, Project Runway creates killer stress, is populated with designer’s who get downright mean (some have no class) and requires inhuman amounts of energy in order to survive. However I applaud your chutzpah in being willing to face all that, it could be you’re far better of without it! 😀
Oops, apologies for my fibro-fog attack causing mistakes in typing.
Despite the mic issues, Annie, you are fabulous. I love your take on enhancing ANY woman’s beauty. Hear hear!
Annie – I think they should have called you back too – you got your video to them in spite of adversity. I would have really enjoyed seeing you on Project Runway
Loved your audition, mic issues and all. Project Runway really messed up by not calling.
I am so disappointed! I love Project Runway and I think you have the mad skills and cool head that would prevail. boo.
